Hi Holly, I finally had a moment to visit your website and read about your work. I co-authored Terri Crisp's newly released book, No Buddy Left Behind: Bringing U.S. Troops' Dogs and Cats Safely Home from the Combat Zone. Interviewing soldiers and their families for hours, and writing their stories not only opened my eyes and nearly broke my heart, but surprised me at how they were so willing, so proud and grateful to be American soldiers and part of the best teams people could imagine. While getting my degree in Psychology at CSU Sacramento I did lots of research on the brain and on PTSD, as well as secondary PTSD, frequently experienced by psychologists and counsellors assigned to Mental Health stations, listening to first-hand stories over and over. The film you are making needs to be made. Bless you for what you are doing. I'd love to meet you. I just moved up from Sacramento in August to Whidbey Island - in Coupeville. Is there anything I can do to support your project?

Hello Fred,
Thanks for your interest. I hope you can make auditions at The Lotus Tea Bar and Studio in Oak Harbor April 30th or May 1st at 6pm. The movie does deal with some serious issues. It is completely fictional, but personal experiences and interest made the story not too hard to come up with. I will be directing and a crew from California will be coming to shoot the movie this August.

I saw a synopsis and some character descriptions on our dressing room wall at Whidbey Playhouse in Oak Harbor. I'd be interested to know more. Cooking up a script on this topic couldn't have been easy. Tanks for listening. Fred
